Apple Announces First Headliners For Its Free London Music Festival!
One Direction will be supported by Little Mix on 22nd September, Disclosure on the 25th, Pharrell Williams on the 26th, and Florence + The Machine, supported by James Bay, will close the festival on its last day on the 28th.
The artists that have already been announced have been sharing their excitement at being chosen for the exclusive lineup, with Pharrell Williams telling fans: “I’m so grateful to be performing at the Apple Music Festival. The Roundhouse is such a historic venue… there’s always a special energy in the crowd. Thank you for having me.”
The festival will be running from the 19th – 28th September, and the usual deal will be occurring to get your hands on free tickets.
Fans hoping to attend the shows will firstly have to be UK residents, and then will have to try their hardest to win them through Apple and their selected partners. But no fear, if you’re unlucky and don’t bag yourself any, the whole festival will be streamed live again online.
Since starting in 2007, the events have been a huge success with previous headliners including Adele, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. So we really can’t wait to see what the organisers have planned this year.
