Brooch for May 9
Victory Day is widely celebrated today in Russia. On this great day, the Russians, with pride in their ancestors, put on the St. George ribbon. This decoration has become very popular, given the growth of patriotism in recent times. And of course everyone wants to please himself and others with a luxurious accessory on his chest on this memorable day. In fact, to make a brooch for the holiday of May 9 with your own hands will not be too difficult. For the work we need:
- St. George ribbon.
- Ribbon with tricolor.
- Moment adhesive.
- Beads are brown and white.
- A clasp with a pin.
So, let's start creating a brooch. First, we mark the St. George ribbon on ribbons of such sizes: 1 ribbon (brooch base) - length 22 cm. 5 ribbons (petals) - 7 cm length. First, glue the long ribbon base together . Do not forget to tape each ribbon around the edges with a lighter flame.Make the ends of the ribbon like a flag by cutting off a small triangle.
Then we will start forming petals, which later we will unite into a star.
In order to make a leaf it is necessary to bend the tape in half perpendicular.
Then another ra Bend in half.
This is the kind of petal from the back side.
Now, again, bend in half and bend the edges up. After this process the ends of the petal glue. We glue. We do this with each of the five petals.
The time has come when you need to beautifully lay the leaves on the tape base and secure them with glue. Glue a beautiful bead on top or like a flat pebble on the photo. On the reverse side, also use glue to glue the buckle with a pin.
That's all, work on the brooch is over. I must say that the variations can be quite a lot. For example, you can combine the colors of two ribbons tricolor and St. George ribbons. Or so, by adding the usual brown satin ribbons to the star.
You can of course just tie the St. George ribbon on May 9 in the usual way, but of course, your brooch hands - it is much more beautiful, elegant accessory.
