Crafts for May 9 from paper
For Victory Day, like for any other holiday, you need to start preparing with the kids in advance. You can learn suitable songs or poems with them, read thematic books and watch movies. And you can make interesting crafts. Crafts on May 9 from colored paper will be a wonderful addition to the holiday.
The paperwork on May 9 from paper
Unusual and fairly simple crafts on Victory Day of paper can be made on the basis of a cardboard tube from toilet paper. Additionally, you only need red foiled cardboard, golden foiled paper and red corrugated paper. An important emphasis on crafts is the St. George ribbon. You can make it yourself from thin paper strips, sticking them on the base. Cylindrical can also be glued together from an ordinary cardboard rectangle, but it will be less stable than a ready-made cardboard tube.
It is better to take the tube sufficiently wide and tight -optimal shape.
To make it shorter, we cut off one side with scissors. You can use a stationery knife for this purpose.
Cut off the excess part
Wrap the rest of the cylinder with gold foil-coated paper. You can use golden foil instead.
Wrap with colored paper
Leave one edge of the paper unbent, to it we we will glue the flame of fire. If foil is used, the flame of the fire is attached with adhesive tape or a stapler.
Cut out red flame from corrugated paper and glue it to the free edge of paper or foil.
Glue the flame
From the red foiled cardboard we cut a large number “9”, glue it onto the front of the cylinder. It is better to draw a figure in advance on the reverse side of the sheet, and then cut out along the contour. It is convenient to cut the center of it with a knife or small scissors with a curved end.
Glue the number "9"
From the bottom we draw up the nine St. George ribbon, thereby giving it a special meaning. St. George ribbon can be drawn independently or cut from a card, as we did.
