Rosehip: how to brew?

Everyone knows or at least heard about the miraculous properties of wild rose. First of all, he is credited with just a huge amount of vitamin C in the composition, which is true - there are more of him there than in black currants, almost 10 times. However, the benefits of vitamin C are exaggerated - it is not a panacea for many diseases, and even colds. But besides vitamin C, wild rose is endowed with many other beneficial properties. Below we will tell how to brew it.

Useful properties of wild rose

Dogrose is really an auxiliary and tonic. It has a multivitamin, anti-inflammatory, choleretic effect, stimulates metabolic processes in the body, increases appetite. Thanks to vitamin C, rosehip improves blood quality, therefore it is recommended for anemia (anemia).

Rosehip is easy to prepare and, as you know, fresh fruits are much more useful, although in dried rosehip it retains its beneficial properties.

Rosehip infusion in a thermos

One of the easiest ways to support your body in case of an upset gastrointestinal tract.At 1 liter of hot boiling water you need to add a tablespoon of berries, mix, close the lid and put overnight to infuse. It is better, of course, and it is more convenient to prepare this decoction in the evening to start using it in the morning. Rosehip, brewed in this way, has a good choleretic property, and therefore will help with poisoning.

A decoction of the hips in a water bath

A quick way to start normalizing the blood and getting lots of vitamins. Two tablespoons of chopped rosehips need to pour two cups of hot water (almost boiling water) and put in a water bath. Cup, in which you will cook the broth, cover and 15 minutes after boiling water in a common saucepan, keep in a water bath. After remove, let the broth cool. Vitamin decoction is ready to eat.

Brewing Fresh Rose Hips

If you have fresh hips in your hands, do not rush to throw them into the pan and cook for an hour and a half. Make a mixture of decoction and infusion, especially since it does not take much time and will retain as much as possible nutrients.

You will need 3 tablespoons of fresh rosehips and 1 liter of water.

Cooking:

  1. Wash the fruit well.
  2. Mash them with a fork, mince or chop in a blender.
  3. Fill with half a liter of water for 30-40 minutes.
  4. When time runs out, strain the water, and fill the remaining berries with another 500 ml of water and put on the fire.
  5. After boiling, keep on fire for about 30 minutes.
  6. After the time, drain the broth and combine with the infusion.

Is done. You can get rid of the fruit - they gave all their benefit to the decoction and infusion.

Brewing Rose Hips

Rosehip root is useful for about the same health problems as the fruit. But still, in some places it acts more efficiently, somewhere the other way around.

Especially good to take the root of the dog rose when:

  • heavy bleeding;
  • hypertension;
  • cramps and muscle pain. Some people use the hips in these cases, not only inside but also locally.

Brew it easy. You will need rosehip root and water.

Cooking:

  1. Prepare the rosehip root - make sure that it is clean and dry.
  2. If you have a whole root, not a powder, chop it.
  3. On one tablespoon you will need about 500 ml of water.
  4. Pour a spoonful of wild rose 500 ml of water and boil after boiling for 15 minutes.
  5. After that, remove from heat and let it brew for about 15 minutes.
  6. Strain.

Despite all the beneficial properties of wild rose, it can act as an allergen, like most products that we use. Everything needs measure. It would be better if all the same broths advise you to do a doctor for additional help to the body, because you can abuse it or simply drink it wrong, after which you still have to run to the doctor. And remember: if you decide to strengthen your health a little without the help of doctors, decoctions of herbs are not a panacea - they are only an auxiliary part of treatment or health promotion, but not an independent remedy for rheumatism, cold or blood problems.
