Cooking salt in the garden is an unbeatable result!

Natural remedies instead of toxic chemicals

Sometimes instead of fertilizers and pesticides you can use the most common products such as salt, sugar, garlic, kefir, mustard.

Here, for example, we see the first signs of late blight on tomatoes.

To save the fruits, it is necessary to accelerate their ripening. For these purposes, it is usually advised to feed tomatoes with potassium and phosphorus. But there is a better and easier way.

Take 100 g of salt per 1 liter of water and spray the diseased plants with this solution. After such spraying, the leaves will turn yellow and fall off, the plants will stop growing and all their strength will go to the ripening of the fruits. In addition, a thin salt film that appears on the fruit will protect them from further infection. But you can not wait until the thunder breaks out, and for preventive purposes you can sprinkle the plants with fresh garlic infusion (50 grams per bucket of water) or a solution of fermented kefir (1 liter per bucket of water).

Another problem is the development of beets.

Roots have a bit more radish and are not sweet. In this case, salt will also help you. Dissolve 35 - 50 g in a bucket of water and feed the plants. True, such top dressing is done at the beginning of summer when eight real leaves appear on the plants. The salt solution is poured not at the very root, but into the grooves at a distance of 10 cm from the root crops.

With a butterfly - cabbage can be fought as follows.

Cook a thick sugar syrup. Pour into saucers and place them around cabbage beds on high stands. Put a pinch of yeast into each container. As a result of fermentation, a peculiar smell will appear, which will attract pests. Arriving at the bait, cabbage whitefish stick to the saucer and will not be able to fly.

In rainy weather, too many slugs.

They spoil the leaves of strawberries, and the berries absorb entirely. Slugs are active more often in the evening, at night or early in the morning. In the afternoon they hide somewhere in the shadows under the boards, in the thick grass. These areas of accumulation of slugs must be sprinkled with dry mustard.

You are definitely undermining potatoes.

And you know very well what crop to expect in the fall, and if it is not very large in your estimation, do it next year.In the prepared garlic solution (1 kg of crushed garlic per 10 liters of water), you need to hold the planting material for about 8 hours. This will help to disinfect the seeds and stimulate plant growth in the future. Experience shows that in this case the yield will be 30–50% higher.
